Amina Bokhary Graduated With An Honors Degree

As a young professional, Amina Bokhary is one of many people looking for a change in their scenery. Making positive changes in your life is key to reaping rewards later in life. Amina Bokhary has previously worked overseas, but she is now trying to take a little time in her home town so that she can find the right fit for her unique skills and abilities.

Amina Bokhary graduated with an honors degree in economics in 1999. She worked as a personal fashion consultant for a company called Selfridges in London after getting her degree. While at Selfridges, she was able to work with professional stylists. It was a productive first job—she learned a lot about the industry and it opened a lot of doors that might have otherwise remained closed.

London was a wonderful place for Amina Bokhary to learn skills regarding fashion knowledge and management skills. However, she felt that she needed to return to Hong Kong. Since then, she has been working with some leading names and big projects—not the least of which is Sotheby’s and LVMH store openings. She felt this was a good move, though, because Hong Kong has virtually everything the fashion industry can offer. Bokhary’s main goal currently is to sharpen her business skills and her knowledge of the fashion world. Hong Kong is a suitable place for her to accomplish that and it is always nice to be in your home town.
